4 Types of Bathroom Sinks to Consider

by Support Team .

It’s time to wash your hands and as you walk to the bathroom sink, you find it difficult to reach, an inconvenience to use, and it is overall just not ideal for any bathroom. Before you sit down and choose the wrong bathroom sink for your bathroom space, consider the different types and options that you have available. Remember, you do not have to settle for the boring, traditional top mount sink and you can have fun and add luxury to your bathroom.

1. Undermount Sink

Similar to its sibling the top mount sink, this sink sits on your countertop, but the rim of the sink is underneath he counter instead of above it. These sinks provide a soft, sleek, and seamless look to any bathroom and also provide you the convenience of not having to worry about caulk showing around the rim or puddled water on the counter.

These sinks are easy to clean and are perfect for any luxury-style bathroom. In addition, they match all types of countertops from wood to marble and more.

2. Pedestal Sink

Pedestal sinks transport you back to a fancy home in the 1700s or 1800s. These sinks add a touch of elegance to your bathroom and many homeowners yearn to have them. A pedestal sink will match perfectly with a standalone tub or even a frameless shower.

One of the benefits of this type of sink is that it is stunning and will help hide any piping that you have running through the floor of your bathroom.

3. Vessel Sink

You have probably seen a vessel sink in a high-end restaurant or home that you have visited. These sinks sit on top of the counter and the bowl is visible all the way around. These sinks are nice because they are easy to clean and they provide a beautiful look to any bathroom.

4. Wall-Mounted Sink

The wall-mounted sink is a great option for any home and allows you to enjoy a sink wherever you need it on your bathroom wall. The sink adds dimension to any bathroom interior and is fixed right to the wall without having to be attached to a countertop or cabinets.

If you are looking to redesign your bathroom space, don’t forget about the sink as it does make a difference. Before you settle on a traditional sink option, consider all of the options available as well as how much space you have and the type of theme you want.
