“There is increasing scientific evidence that poor design works against the wellness of patients and in certain instances can have negative effects on physiological indicators of wellness. Research has linked poor design to such negative consequences for patients as, for instance, anxiety, delirium, elevated blood pressure, and increased intake of pain drugs.” Says Roger S. Ulrich, PhD.
Even though this research was applied to health care centers, the previous comment is valid for homes and workplaces as well. If you habit a space with poor design, you have greater possibilities of getting sick. It’s even kind of logical, if you’re unconfortable with the surrounding enviroment, your body and inmune system will not work well.
