The redesign included a total interior remodeling of the home. Certain walls were removed, as well as new glass tiles were installed in the main living area to maximize the openness of the area. Bathrooms were demolished and reconstructed with a new layout. Bedroom floors were dressed with exotic African Teak to introduce warmth to the space. We replaced a very dingy kitchen with very modern and streamline state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, and to introduce some color, as per the clients wishes, we added a splash of plum-colored glass as backsplash behind the stove and kept the remaining backsplash with frosted glass. Custom-made cherry doors with a combination frosted glass inserts were installed throughout the home. High-end modern furniture was installed from lines such as B&B Italia, and limited edition accessories and vases complimented the look, along with original art, most of which was custom-made for the home.
The client was relocating from Europe and wanted to modernize and update the entire home.
